Since 2006, we continue to perfect our approach to design and construction. As riders and motorcycle enthusiasts ourselves, we understand and appreciate the value of well made products that look great on our bikes. We know the feeling of walking up to your bike with admiration, pride and excitement and we want to be a part of the experience.
What is the best material to cover a motorcycle seat cover?
We use a premium marine grade vinyl, akin to what is used on open air watercraft, chosen for its hard wearing durability in everyday use and resilience to diverse weather conditions. We also offer a superior synthetic Japanese suede that has the look and feel of traditional suede without the concern of water damage. Everything is then skillfully stitched together with UV resistant thread to maintain the look and quality of a Luimoto Motorcycle Seat Cover.
How to Maintain your Luimoto motorcycle seat cover
To preserve the integrity of your Luimoto motorcycle seat cover and keep it looking great, we first recommend avoiding prolonged periods of exposure to harsh weather i.e. parked outside during winter months. Also avoid any harsh cleaners or chemicals that could damage the vinyl and Japanese synthetic suede. Lastly, it’s best to skip the Armor All or similar products that may negatively affect your riding experience and instead use mild soap and water to spot clean with a soft brush or microfiber cloth. When it comes to washing your motorcycle, we encourage you to pat dry the sear with a chamois and/ or air dry for 20 minutes before riding.
