Frequently Asked Questions About Passenger Seat Covers

How much are Luimoto passenger seat covers?

Passenger seat covers are generally less than $200, although there are exceptions for covers with special materials or styling. We also offer “Baseline” passenger seat covers for many brands, which lower the price point by avoiding extra design flourishes and offer a simpler appearance.

Why don’t you offer passenger seat covers for some motorcycle brands?

Some motorcycles have seats made from a single piece of foam, including the area where a passenger would normally sit. Our rider seat covers offer protection for the entire seat in these cases, so there’s no need for a passenger seat cover as well. Note that these covers are often among the more expensive ones we sell, owing to the extra cost of materials.

Can I install Luimoto’s seat covers myself?

We’ve made our seat covers from marine-grade vinyl, which offers better resistance to wet conditions than most OEM seat covers. However, for true waterproofing, we recommend purchasing a weather protector from our Accessories & Apparel page—this is the best way to keep water off your seat and away from the foam inside it.

Are Luimoto’s seat covers waterproof?

Our bespoke seat covers can be made for motorcycle and scooter seats of practically any shape and size. Contact us to briefly describe your request, then pay the deposit once we’ve confirmed it and we’ll start working with you to create a cover for your bike.
